Parking

Getting dropped off at the Gardeners’ House

We do not have our own car park here at the Gardeners’ House. There is a small car park outside, but it belongs to Morrab Library and our visitors aren’t able to park there.

If you have mobility issues and need a parking space close to the building, please let us know and we will see if we can make arrangements. If you are being dropped off at the Gardeners’ House, it is possible to drive in through the top entrance to the park, and a member of our team can come outside to meet you. The person driving will then need to find parking nearby.

The pictures below show you the driveway and the car park.

Entering the car park

The Morrab Library car park is a one way system . You drive in past Pengarth Daycare Centre at the top of the gardens, and you will find the entrance to the car park by the bollards. You can then circle round and can drop off in front of the Gardeners House before driving back out of the Gardens. The speed limit is 5mph.

Council car parking nearby

You will need to park your car in the nearest available public car parks. The nearest car parks are Greenmarket – this is very small, with limited parking, and Penalverne, a larger council car park. You will need to pay for parking using an app at these car parks. You could also look at St Erbyn’s, Clarence Street and Wellfields Car Park.
