Anyone can use our lift. It’s big enough for wheelchair users and you can work it yourself. We have an old dog called Eric who can’t use the stairs and he uses the lift, but he does need someone to help him as he can’t reach the buttons.
You call the lift to you by pressing a large square button, once, next to the door handle.
This turns blue and the lift comes to where you are – and when it arrives there’s a clunk noise which means it’s here.
To work the lift you stand inside and close the door. Press the button of the floor you need and hold it down until you reach the floor you want – when you are there you will hear a clunk noise, and that means you can push the door open. If you need help in the lift you can press the emergency button or use the phone to call.
